Research Interests: Modern Jewish thought and philosophy; the problem of faith and reason in the medieval and modern periods; philosophical approaches to biblical interpretation; the relationship between philosophy and mysticism/kabbalah; theories of religious pluralism; Jewish-Christian polemics in the early modern and modern periods; Maimonides, Spinoza, and Moses Mendelssohn.
