Jeremy Friedman is the sustainability coordinator at New York University, where he leads NYU's projects and initiatives to improve environmental performance and foster a campus culture of ecological literacy.
Jeremy completed a degree in Environmental Values and Public Policy at NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where he studied the intersections among politics, philosophy, and design, as these areas shape the process of change within large institutions. He was a 2006 Morris K. Udall Scholar.
Jeremy serves as a member of the AASHE Advisory Council and collaborates with local, regional and national sustainability organizations on projects such as the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment, as well as a new effort to measure the climate footprint of institutional food systems.
